The Jolly Roger Fishing Pier is located in Topsail Beach, the southernmost municipality on the island. The Jolly Roger is a pier complex with a convenience store and bait and tackle shop with small restaurant facilities. This 854-foot ocean pier, at the southern end of the island, is open from March through November.
Anglers do not need to purchase a NC Fishing License to fish the piers. The piers maintain a Blanket Coastal Recreational Fishing License that covers their customers.
